Vegetarians and vegans aside, everyone loves meat. The meat industry is one of the world’s leading moneymakers. Humans love meat so much that it is now available everywhere and in any shape or form that you would like. It also comes ridiculously cheaper and cheaper every day. However many of us get constantly conscious with every bite we take off that burger. Did the animal that provided this meat suffer? Back in the days of our cavemen ancestors food wasn’t as readily available as it is to us now. Having breakfast, lunch and dinner everyday was unimaginable by the first humans just as it is unimaginable for animals living in the wild right now. You basically had to find as much food as possible and stuff yourself when you do because you could expect long periods of food scarcity.

Blood is also an invaluable resource for medical research and testing and has so far been a scarce resource since getting blood means getting it from a living human being and those tend to value their blood and not give it out at will.
